About Cliffhanger Cottages - Your Hosts

Cliffhanger Cottages was established in 2005. You'll be personally welcomed to a stay marked by comfort, tranquillity and exceptional attention to detail.

Ingrid, the owner, is creative, artistic and deeply inspired by nature. This passion for beauty and harmony has also been infused into the unique charm of each cottage. Fluent in English, Afrikaans and Dutch, Ingrid offers a warm and personal connection to guests from near and far. Her own love of walking in the forests of Knysna, and the beautiful beaches in the area, bring a special authenticity to the experience of staying at Cliffhanger Cottages.

Because the cottages are perched high above the valley, Cliffhanger Cottages is not pet-friendly or suitable for children under 10. This ensures an atmosphere of peace and privacy, making it the ideal couples' retreat in Knysna. Guests with special requests, such as a romantic hamper on arrival or a couples' massage, are encouraged to contact Ingrid directly. With sufficient notice, she will gladly assist wherever possible.
